Florida Farms

Florida Farms has been making some big moves here at Digitaldowns.us the last few months. As a long time member of Digitaldowns he has always been a gritty competitor. He has had many fine horses scattered over the years. Never has he had a stable like this one. It started off when the US government decided to freeze online poker to US players. They shut down all the major poker sites and instead of playing poker for countless hours per day. He started spending more time on here. He studied, made claims, made offers, networking breeds, got a friend involved with the site as well.

He purchased a great horse named Ecko, who has really done well for him, breaking a couple track records. He used the winnings from Ecko and a couple other hot horses to really start breeding a ton of one year olds before the start of this season. He was using good mares he had retired with some top sires and come race time this season. It seemed to pay off for him. He dominated the Eliminator competition with his slew of 2 year olds that made it the finals, leaving many other stables on the outside of the big money. He used a lot of the money made from the Eliminator and started breeding even more.

He currently enters 4-8 horses per division almost every SSS race. In doing so he has put pressure on the other trainers to keep pace with his numbers. Those who dont will be on the outside looking in, on the largest purse money for races Digitaldowns have ever seen. We are going to see races around the 1 million credit mark or more at this pace. It is going to be amazing to run for such big money, and he is gunning to have as many horses entering that gate as possible. Its a risky but high reward stategy that could rocket him into full domination of the site. He is currently 3rd in races won, but overwhelmingly the leader in money earned.

Aquaman and Truboble are battling it out for the wins lead, with multi winning training champion Trunoble chomping at the bit to get his title back. Aqua is not going to turn over and let him take. He is going to make him earn it. But dont count Florida Farms out just yet. He is going to dig in deep and try and make it a 3 way battle. I think his plans are more long term and where as he could stay in the hunt, he is building an army. Tonights Super Star Series races are going to be awesome as we have a split 19 horse colt race, and a full 12 horse field in the fillies. Big purse money on the line and the points are becoming more and more important as the series progresses.

In the first split race of the colts, I like Eric The Poker Elf. This horse hasnt seen the winner circle in the last 3 but finished second to a blazing Halo Champ last time out at 6f, and the added furlong should benefit the colt. In the second split race, I like the 8 horse Coach’s Legacy. This horse really shined well a few back at 7f, running the course at 121.39. I think the one horse could offer something here, and I look forward to what Free Spirits Joy can do here with these. Looked very impressive the first 2, so lets see how he handles the rail. In the fillies, Supervillian420 loves the distance and Brigamohan should give her a nice ride. Pretty open field here, also interested in the 1 horse Jesse Max Out. I wonder if the rail will benefit and if this horse can go the distance.

We also have the running of the Corned Beef Hash Stakes and The Razor Stakes for 3 and up fillies. These races were named after 2 of the best horses in DD history. In the Corned Beef Hash Stakes, I really like Maxed Out Explorer. I think this race sets up nicely for him. He needs to push this horse out and keep him close to the lead. I would say this is one of the most competitive races I have ever seen. Wide open and anyone can do it. I am happy to see Marty Racing putting a couple of his horses in the mix and I look forward to seeing if King Maximus still has it. Might take him one to knock the cobwebs off. In the Razor Stakes, its going to take a gallant effort to top Sheza Troll at this distance. 7f is right up her alley. The clock is ticking on her time here racing, so this should be a special race. If anyone is going to beat her, I would think it would be Two For One. This filly is racing really well right now, posting back to back super fast times. In any case, this will be one for the record books. Can Sheza Troll do it again??? Tune in tonight to find out!
